Hello, my name is Amelia L. James.
I have been drawing on and off for most of my life. My most recent project is a series of colored pencil drawings of architectural detail that you can see while riding the Elevated (El) train here in Chicago. Some of this detail cannot be seen clearly from the street level but can be enjoyed 20 feet up in the air on the train or on the El platforms. I hope you enjoy my interpretation of the color and lighting. It has been a fun project. When completed there will be a drawing for each of the Loop stations, and one for each of the corners, for a total of 12..... which is a good number for a calendar.
